What to do on the Allotment?

After a hard Spring and Summer on the Allotment it is very tempting to stop working on the plot during Autumn and Winter – I have done this many years!

But I have learnt from this after starting back up in February.

In Autumn and Winter it is the ideal time get to hard work and start clearing your plot. You need to be doing maintenance work and repairing sheds, greenhouses, fences.

You can also do all your building work at this time of year.

The reason behind it…

The reason behind doing it all now is because if you leave it till next year you will be pushed for time as it will soon come round to planting your seeds, potting up and all your other Spring jobs.
