A happy gardener.

Over two years ago now I started myself a profile called The Yorkshire Gardener. This was just a simple blog on Facebook to keep track of all the things I do.

After a couple of months of doing it this started to get more followers – I was now at a 100 followers. I was not expecting anyone to follow it. It was just for my own records. This then went up to 1000 – I was flabbergasted that people want to follow my gardening progress and see what I was doing.

So I just continued my thing – recording what I was doing etc. I was getting to know my new followers and enjoying everyone seeing what I was doing.

The figure was still going up and up. Now at over 5500 followers on Facebook, 4000 followers on Instagram.

I love that I have gained a community of followers on my pages seeing what I am doing and encouraging me down on the allotment. It’s great to share my tips and advice with you all and thank you for all the kind words you give me
