Prune back your wisteria – you need to cut back the summer side shoots to about 3-4 buds.
Ornamental grasses need to be cut back – cut back old foliage before the new growth starts on the plants. This needs cutting back to just a few centimeters
Perennials need tidying up -cut them back but be careful of any new growth.
Remove any old leaves from hellebore – this will make the blooms more visible when they appear.
Willows can be cut back – trim back any damage, diseased and the oldest stems. Also thin out overcrowded stems.
Pansies – Deadhead any old pansies this will stop them from going to seed.
