Planting Christmas Potatoes

Good morning and welcome to my blog for today!

Well yesterday was a busy day down at the plot, I managed to plant my Christmas Potatoes, and some runner beans, then prepare the ground for my beetroot, carrots, spring onion and lettuce.

You may think it’s a bit late for these but being a gardener it is all about experimenting and I do love to try things out.

The last thing you would want to hear is the word ” Christmas” but it will certainly soon be here.

You can plant some potatoes now and keep them outside for a few weeks then bring them indoors to finish until Christmas.

I’ve produced a video below showing how I got on yesterday with planting them.

If you would like to order some potatoes’ bags and fertiliser you can get them here:- https://theyorkshiregardener.com/the-gardening-and-allotment-product-shop/

Here is the video from yesterday:-

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for a new blog
